Our client in Baltimore, MD is seeking a direct hire/full time Web Developer to assist with various website changes, content updates, digital publications, and other interactive channels. The Web Developer candidate MUST have some front end coding experience in HTML and responsive CSS. Experience with any CMS tool is also required for consideration

Web Developer Responsibilities:
  • Web Production Specialist will be responsible for content and HTML updates
  • The position includes the opportunity to contribute to user training and governance, CMS template development, design, and accessibility governance
  • The individual will work daily with the SiteExecutive CMS system, occasional WordPress, and with other required tools such as Adobe CS4/5 Photoshop
  • Responsible for content management system (CMS) template development, and accessibility governance 

Web Developer Requirements:
  • MUST have a Bachelors degree 
  • Requires a minimum of 2- 3 years in a Web authoring environment, maintaining or developing Web sites and working with various clientele and related vendors
  • Proven, relevant experience in web development with a working knowledge of the web technologies. Candidate should exhibit a strong desire for continued learning of web technologies, tools, content management systems, and web development software. 
  • Ability to work with Google Analytics, understanding of SEO and Web accessibility also a plus
  • The successful candidate will have worked with CMS systems
  • Candidate should have familiarity with JavaScript and JQuery and with managing web sites within a Content Management System, preferably SiteExecutive. 
  • Experience with design related tools including Adobe CS4/5 Photoshop and IllustratorProven team participation and responsibility with regard to technical projects and initiatives in a complex organization
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging Internet technologies
  • Ability to research, organize and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to organize, manage and work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • The successful candidate will be able to navigate, negotiate and accommodate the needs of a diverse community
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer and interpersonal/human relations service skills
