Web Coordinator

We have your next position available! Our client is looking for a talented Web Coordinator for a temporary hire opportunity currently located in McLean, VA. This Web Coordinator is responsible for owning the coordination of all product releases on the Digital, Experience, and Innovation teams. This role will also facilitate the release management lifecycle meetings, monitor the release plan, track and update activities, prepare documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. 

Web Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews
  • Facilitate release planning meetings with key stakeholders to identify proper sequencing of release packages
  • Ensure issues and risks are identified, understood, and dealt with in a manner than mitigates risk to scope and schedule
  • Update release plans daily with web tickets, risks, assumptions and details
  • Maintain release calendar for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors
  • Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

Web Coordinator Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Previous release or project coordination experience
  • Formal training in project management or agile practices preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards task completion
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must 
  • General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, expert level knowledge of Excel
