The Vice President of Digital Marketing in Libertyville, IL, is responsible for providing leadership and driving strategy across the company's sales and marketing functions. This direct hire/full time role is critical in both developing and implementing strategic initiatives, as well monitoring the team performance to ensure desired goals and targets are met and/or exceeded. This position will also act as a key spokesperson for the organization and have frequent contact with executive level representatives from customers, strategic business partners and industry associations.

Vice President of Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing leadership and driving strategy across the company's sales and marketing functions.
  • Critical in both developing and implementing strategic initiatives, as well monitoring the team performance to ensure desired goals and targets are met and/or exceeded.
  • Act as a key spokesperson for the organization and have frequent contact with executive level representatives from customers, strategic business partners and industry associations.
  • Create, plan and implement the marketing and sales strategy for the organization in accordance with the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Assess market potential and identify new business opportunities and verticals.
  • Develop annual sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and increase market share in all aspects of market, including retail, salon and international markets
  • Propose projects that will increase market share or create new categories of applications to yield similar results
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for all sales and marketing solutions, working cross-functionally as necessary to ensure desired outcomes are met.
  • Strategize innovative marketing and sales strategy, in line with digital landscape, including influencer activations, experiential marketing efforts and social media partnerships
  • Oversee sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs
  • Develop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Provide expertise to the company by building, developing and managing sales and marketing teams capable of carrying out the company strategies and tactics
  • Drive all social media and web branding efforts to ensure the company's web presence is strong and easy to navigate
  • Collect and analyze market research, customer research, and competitive analysis to identify market trends in the industry
Vice President of Digital Marketing Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a sales organization with proven competency in generating annual revenues
  • Experience in retail sales of products in an ecommerce environment
  • Proven record of developing/improving sales and marketing infrastructure and processes
  • Proven record of success managing a sales and marketing organization in a rapidly growing/dynamic market(s)
  • Demonstrated experience operating as part of a leadership team that emphasizes collaborative decision making and a high degree of coordination between functions
  • Very experienced in digital marketing, including Facebook ads, Google AdWords, SnapChat ads, etc.
  • Knowledge of influencer market and experience in influencer implementation
