Ready for a new job? We are looking for a talented Vice President of Digital Marketing for a direct hire/full-time position currently located in Philadelphia, PA. The Vice President of Digital Marketing responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies. The Vice President of Digital Marketing role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities.  

Vice President of Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Management of multi-layered account services and project management team 
  • Propose, develop and deliver innovative digital content offerings
  • Manage digital content creators as well as their work, revenue and expenses, maximizing employee bill ability
  • Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership to clients and staff in the areas of digital content
  • Serve as a creative content leader
  • Engage and interact with clients and new business prospects, demonstrating exceptional client service and relationship management skills
  • Maintain relationships with senior-level client contacts and internal contacts
  • Mentor, coach and support team members ensuring constant development of their skills
  • Effectively budget new scopes of work and manage staff utilization to meet targets
  • Grow business prospects with existing clients; expand digital scope of work; lead new business outreach process and win business
  • Identify new tools and techniques to improve the performance of digital efforts
  • Assume fiscal responsibility for division, accounts and team
  • Perform timely analysis of campaign performance and results
  • Remain current on digital best practices 
  • Develop and maintain strong network of vendors, influencers, trend leaders and contacts to proactively support innovation and creative development

Vice President of Digital Marketing Requirements:
  • Must have Pharmaceutical ad agency experience be considered - not flexible on this.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in social media marketing or digital agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • Track record of developing and executing profitable social media and/or digital campaigns that meet client objectives
  • Strong understanding of analytics, including Google Analytics, owned social channel metrics, experience conducting social media and/or search engine audits and competitive analysis 
  • Google Analytics and / or Omniture required 
  • Strong Project Management skill set 
  • Must have management / leadership experience to be considered 
  • Technology background in front end development and / or coding skills is considered a plus!
