We are looking for a strong Technical Writer (temporary hire) to join our client's Design and Training Communications team located in Pensacola, Fl. This role will Analyze current state policy and procedure online content for both Branch and Contact Centers.

Technical Writer Responsibilities:


  • Will review and analyze current state policy and procedure online content for both Branches and our client's Contact Center 
  • Will collaborate with subject matter experts, technical writing peers, business unit managers, stakeholders, and project managers
  • Will take advanced technical writing knowledge to write policies, procedures, and document
  • Will include taking large amounts of written information and reorganize and simplify it into brief, easy to navigate content 
  • Advanced understanding of content and best practices for creating and managing it
  • Ability to work both with the business and the technical teams
  • Ability to analyze user experience feedback 
  • Ability to use UE data to create business requirements, content authoring and workflows, and implementation decisions to create a usable, useful system
  • Ability to understand the concepts of reusable content, taxonomy, metadata, authoring workflows, and governance
  • Qualitative assessment of the content against various criteria, including business requirements, user needs, and style and brand guidelines and facilitates making smart decisions about the disposition of all that content 
  • Serve as voice of the end user  

Technical Writer Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in communications related field, online analytics, or human-computer interaction 
  • 4 years of related experience with content management 
  • Advanced experience of Content Management Systems(CMS) 
  • Exceptional communication and project management abilities 
  • Knowledge of support processes and the application of knowledge and communications within them
  • Expertise with the use of taxonomy for content management
