Ad Title: Design Lead 
Location: Berwyn, PA 
Type: Contract 

Our client is seeking a strong Design Lead on a contract basis to join our prominent client right away! This position will be in charge of end-end design work from conception to final deliverables in an agile "pod" environment. This position will work across multiple mediums including digital, print, video and more! 

Design Lead Responsibilities:

  • Regularly invites input and criticism on their work. Leads candid, constructive critique sessions to collect feedback during iterations
  • Effectively synthesizes and determines which feedback should be incorporated
  • Possesses strong, human-centered design (HCD) facilitation skills
  • Coordinates across functions as needed to cultivate a shared sense of user empathy and facilitates creative output throughout the organization

Design Lead Requirements: 
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree (BS, BFA and/or Masters) in a design, advertising, or communications field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • A minimum of five years experience in environment with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
  • Track record of designing quality communications deliverables across both traditional print and digital mediums that have enabled positive business outcomes
  • Solid knowledge and expertise in both graphic and user experience design
  • Comfortable flexing different design skills depending on the challenge at hand (e.g., expertise in designing print collateral, emails, social media graphics, sales presentations, landing pages, etc.)
  • Able to work with a diverse set of graphic design and UX software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Balsamiq, Axure, Microsoft Office Suite, etc
  • Experience with planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing and rapid prototyping
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus across interdependent teams for complex design solutions 
  • Has a strong sense of ownership of solutions and is not afraid to speak up to ensure the user’s perspective is heard by their partners
  • Believes in and upholds a culture of transparency and trust
  • Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, along with detailed working knowledge of Agile roles/responsibilities and how design “fits” in the process is preferred
