Our client in Chicago is seeking a Social Media Planner to join their team!

Social Media Planner Responsibilities:
  • Monitor clients’ social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to engagements and reviews based on established brand and client guidelines
  • Monitor clients’ automotive reputation profiles and respond to all client feedback
  • Engage clients for review resolution and provide recommendations on appropriate response
  • Meet with client contacts to review reputation performance, consult on new social media capabilities, and provide recommendations on social media strategies to support business objectives
  • Work with creative team to develop high-performing content based on platform best practices and manage content calendars for multiple client accounts
  • Publish organic content and profile photo updates across client-owned channels and report back on effectiveness to both clients and creative teams
  • Place social media advertising campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat based on agreed upon campaign strategy
  • Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent as effectively as possible each month
  • Develop in-depth campaign reports that outline insights on media delivery, engagement, creative, website traffic, attribution and key learnings
Social Media Planner Skills/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience managing multiple social media profiles across platforms
  • Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat that includes a solid understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities
  • Proficiency with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting
  • Facebook Certified Media Buying & Facebook Certified Media Planning Certifications strongly preferred
  • Have strong project management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects and campaigns at once
  • Experience utilizing tools like Khoros, Salesforce, Basecamp, Asana, Tableau, Google Docs, etc.
  • Have a passion for social media, be an avid user and have a passion to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities and platforms
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for effective client relations
