Our client is looking for a global public relations strategist to support their newest PR initiatives in Newtown Square, PA. As Senior Public Relations Specialist, it’ll be your job execute against this strategy – This includes developing and delivering professional materials in a timely fashion, ensuring media outreach is proactive, and support services such as photography, writing, clipping services, and other contract work are managed efficiently and cost effectively.  

Senior Public Relations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Digital approach to public relations
  • A global perspective–support large and complex outreach and event activities, with an emphasis on regional and global-level activity and market segments
  • Demonstrate leadership within a team driven environment for overall public relations planning and with public relations vendor coordination. Serve as an additional contact to integrate public relations activity in alignment with major organization initiatives
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and deliver tangible business results using measurable public relations practices
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic and tactical public relations plans, demonstrating solid skills using traditional public relations techniques as well as innovative public relations capability using new media activities
  • Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with emphasis on working in global, virtual teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively to navigate and resolve complex challenges while maintaining a professional and competent demeanor
  • Strong business, communications, writing, editing, proofreading, project management, and operational skills
Senior Public Relations Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations or other related business discipline
  • 5 - 7 or more years of experience in a corporate or agency public relations role required
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of public relations. Able to think critically and strategically about public relations programs and apply creative solutions appropriately
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including public speaking and negotiating
  • Strong relationship management skills, including demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, global customers and partners, volunteers, and external organizations with a track record of positive long term outcome-based relationships
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
