Fantastic opportunity for a Segment Marketing Senior Specialist! Our client is seeking a talented Segment Marketing Senior Specialist for a full-time opportunity currently located in Bloomfield, CT. For this position, you will support the Segment/Region plans/marketing initiatives to include internal and external communications and the sales plan strategies to support growth. Manage the execution of these marketing plan initiatives/tactics to ensure successful implementation and desired results. In partnership with the sales and management teams, assist in the development and execution of customer-specific, regional strategies and programs to grow the business. Support other assigned marketing initiatives and key elements of marketing planning process.

Segment Marketing Senior Specialist Responsibilities: 
  • Develop value proposition on, external positioning and messaging that recognizes Cigna’s unique capabilities and resonates with providers (physicians and hospitals)
  • Define proof points and competitive points of differentiation
  • Develop core market message and deep dive materials
  • Build internal communications strategy, including playbook for local markets
  • Ensures value prop/message and Brand consistency across all business line communications
  • Collaborate with Marketing leads within Provider Marketing team on relevant opportunities
  • Working with the Brand CoE, ensure Brand strategy aligns with provider stakeholder needs and messaging
  • Management and execution of market research, competitive intelligence and special projects
  • Identifies opportunities for Public Relations, including social listening, robust content delivery and social thought leadership presence
  • Serves as the central point of contact to network leadership; engages with Marketing COEs as appropriate
  • Identifies metrics and tracks campaign metrics and ROI; captures learnings for continuous improvement.
Segment Marketing Senior Specialist Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent field; MBA or master’s degree in marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of marketing and business strategy experience, ideally in a Sales and/or Marketing environment.
  • Health care industry experience is required.
  • Executive presence to gain confidence of and influence senior leaders and partners across the organization.
  • Ability to identify strategic needs, with little or no direction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment across multiple functions.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and executing strategy/initiatives within time constraints, budget and quality standards.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, as well as oral and written communications.
  • Comfortable developing executive level presentations and supporting delivery.
  • Skills in data and market research analysis, market segmentation and penetration, primary and secondary research.
  • Experience in producing marketing communications programs across various media.
