Title: Learning and Development Project Manager  
Location: Houston, TX 
Type:Full time Contract On-going, no - termination date 

Project Manager Responsibility:
  • Collaborate with Instructional Design and Digital Ops Team Leads to assess project needs with clients and align on proposed learning solution
  • Take leadership role in collaborating with Team Leads to prepare estimates/statements of work, timelines, and project briefs that are properly, resourced, communicated and aligned with services offered by the organization
  • Manage overall scope  and project organization to ensure the team meets project requirements and client expectations (including financial tracking, meeting recaps, progress reports and managing review vendor invoices)
  • Ensure project requirements and key milestones are clearly communicated to and understood by clients, functional team members, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure project team understand their responsibilities and accountabilities and are properly executing their assignments
  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact for all project management issues as it relates to scope/timeline; ensure  Instructional Design Team Lead is properly engaged to address any L&D  issues 
  • Work closely with Instructional Designers to ensure they are successfully enabled to serve as internal client stakeholders providing ownership and oversight of learning solutions from strategy through to execution including providing internal approvals
  • Manage all project-based vendor interactions
  • Communicate regularly to Clients and Team Lead the overall status of projects in progress and in the pipeline (including timelines, estimated efforts, health, resource needs, risks, issues, budgets, etc.)
  • Ensure that project team members are adhering to processes and procedures
  • Partner with Team Leads and be as hands-on as necessary to help rescue at-risk projects
  • Responsible for overall project quality assurance process                    
Project Manager Requirements:
  • Project Manager candidates should demonstrate proficiency in :
    • Project planning & ongoing management
    • Project communications / PM tools (i.e. Workfront)
    • Team leadership and motivation
    • Project financials
    • Full understanding Learning and Development projects including e-learning solutions
    • Understanding of  Web Development is nice to have
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Oil and Gas experience preferred but not required
