Title: Project Manager
Location: Houston TX

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Project and Program Management – Take a hands-on approach in the management and stewardship of high-complexity / high-profile projects as well as multi-channel programs
  • Strategic Thinking – Apply critical thinking needed to seek clarity, establish clear objectives and direction. Synthesize various forms of information and data to develop clear and actionable recommendations, plans and briefs that define deliverables and measures of success
  • Creative Problem Solving – Proactively identify and employ appropriate solutions to address problems or challenges as they arise, while simultaneously mitigating project risk
  • Team Integration – Collaborate and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams.  Foster integration and cultivate relationships
  • Scheduling and Planning – Set project schedules and timelines with appropriate attention to detail, ability to plan multiple/concurrent projects and mitigate risks
  • Financial Planning – Develop and oversee scopes of work, proposals and corresponding budgets to ensure efficiencies and keep projects on time and within budget
  • Critical thinking and Communication – Showcase ability to write and present recommendations founded in solid rationale.  Apply advanced presentation skills along with ability to use sound judgement in influencing target audience while asking critical questions and sharing new ideas
Required Skills:
  • Ability to drive team collaboration, specifically between clients, project managers and creative teams. Must effectively integrate and engage with these teams to set priorities and ensure that project millstones and budget expectations are met
  • Demonstrate high level of critical thinking and communication skills throughout lifecycle
  • Lead and apply critical thinking in the development and presentation of proposals and recommendations, lead kick off meetings with actionable direction, synthesize feedback to provide clear direction, and manage difficult conversations
  • Must be strategic and solutions-oriented with the ability to identify a program’s desired outcome, establish a clear roadmap and steward effectively to achieve desired results. Should be comfortable with uncertainty, and proactively move to solve
  • Write and present plans, proposals and estimates reflecting a realistic expectation of the costs and timing associated with a program
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure milestones and deliverables are completed according to schedule
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of progressive experience in Account or Project Management
  • Proven experience working for an advertising agency or creative studio
  • Experience managing campaigns across all forms of media (print, digital, video etc.)
  • Experience with comms strategy, research and/or analytics is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft skills including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
