Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced marketer to advance two of our client’s product leadership among healthcare providers (primary care, specialist and retail pharmacist) in Lake Forest, IL. This temporary hire, Product Manager role will own the product channel initiatives. S/he will focus on developing the HCP platform, contributing to the commercial success of the brand, while building PCH capabilities within the healthcare environment. For this Product Manager role, we are looking for a high-energy self-starter who has the drive to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and bring ambiguity into action. 

Product Manager Responsibilities:
  • Execute  all aspects of the go-to-market plan for the HCP channel, including: all communication, sampling program, digital,  patient education etc. -Role requires the ability to manage a complex network of cross-functional partners, to ensure flawless execution of the plan
  • Evolve HCP Campaign and Promotional Plan – with focus on strategy, campaign evolution (messaging creative, execution) and tactical execution
  • Manage performance dashboard : Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to generate insights and program ROIs
  • Develop multichannel marketing (MCM) plan and execute programs including professional websites, media plan, email campaigns, e-details, and evaluate new opportunities in  line with business strategy
  • Manage HCP sampling program
  • Manage revenue and operating expenses related to activating healthcare channels and allocate resources to maximize ROI impact to support financial goals
Product Manager Requirements:
  • 7-10+ years of marketing experience required; previous in-line US OTC HCP Marketing experience (brand management) required; Pharmaceutical experience a plus
  • Experience in IRI and other retail tracking data OR  IMS prescription tracking data is required
  • Ability to make decision/recommendations with limited information
  • Demonstrate the ability to bring ambiguity into action/new go to market capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in developing,  executing, and measuring marketing campaign. Multi-channel marketing experience a plus
  • Strong team player with ability to engage colleagues from a wide range of functional areas and backgrounds  
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Advanced degree preferred
