Remote after first day
30-40 hours per week - ongoing contract 

Medical Editor Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary support for assigned brands and back-up support for team in accordance with Editorial SLA
  • Understand & comply with defined standards of review
  • Attend PRT review meetings if needed
  • Collaborate with clients/stakeholders across sites to help the team meet business objectives
  • Effect efficient promotion review by providing input for process improvement, standards, etc, as needed
Medical Editor Skills:
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong editorial/proofreading skills (test required) and effective writing skills
  • Proficient in AMA style
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
  • Skilled at managing multiple concurrent projects. Ability to manage fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must understand the responsibilities (and limitations) of the Editorial role
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structure
  • Capable of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Command of medical/legal system and regulatory guidelines
Medical Editor Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences required; degree in English, journalism, or communication preferred
  • Minimum 5 years general editorial experience, with at least 2 years in medical, pharmaceutical, or advertising industry preferred
