Our client a leading advocacy agency is looking for a rockstar Account Executive to assist in their mission driven objectives. Our client supports associations and non-profits by creating impactful strategies, operations and campaigns to achieve their unique initiatives. These initiatives vary from social justice movements, civic engagement efforts and issue based campaigns--essentially helping those who make are making real difference on the issues that matter most. Up for the challenge? As an Account Executive you'll participate in client meetings and write the follow up memo, conduct research on client's media outreach and oversee marketing materials, assist in managing projects, the occasional media pitch and predominately writing! From op eds to press releases to communication strategies--so you must be an outstanding writer from copy to editing! Sounds like you? We can't wait to meet you! 

Junior Account Executive Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contribute ideas to client and projects
  • Seek help from functional manager if overall workload exceeds regular work week and work with team to determine solution
  • Consistently meet project deadlines so that work is delivered on time without reminders
  • Attend professional development classes or trainings and present summary to staff
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to work with your functional manager to successfully move into problem-solving mode whenever challenges or concerns arise
  • Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment
  • Seek opportunities from team lead or mentor to increase skills or learn new aspects of the business

Junior Account Executive Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Public Relations or Communication
  • 2 years of experience working for a PR agency or firm
