Instructional Designer

Fantastic opportunity for an Instructional Designer with experience designing for and working within Xyleme or a comparable Learning Content Management System (LCMS). Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer for a 2-3 month remote contract with the possibility of extension.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities: 
  • Converting content into digestible content to be used and reused in Xyleme, a Learning Content Management System
  • Creating courses at various different levels according to clients’ needs 
  • Envisioning instructional graphics, user interface and finished product 
  • Producing exercises and activities to reinforce the learning process 
  • Providing supporting materials and media as necessary (audio, video, simulations, etc.) 
Instructional Designer Requirements/Skills:  
  • 3-5 years of applicable Instructional Design/eLearning experience 
  • At least 1 year of experience working within Xyleme or a comparable Learning Content Management System
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in creating engaging courses in multiple formats 
  • Visual design proficiency to create storyboards 
  • Experience writing copy for instructional text and scripts 
  • Experience working within the facilities industry a plus
