Instructional Designer

Do you have a passion for building curriculum to engage employees and increase their skillset to drive business forward? Our team is looking for a mid-level Instructional Designer (temp-to-hire) with digital media curating skills. If you can build and design engaging trainings for a corporate team we want to speak with you about an opportunity to work for a nationally recognized top financial company in the Northern Virginia area.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
  • Determine key development needs by aligning data and analytics with strategic imperatives to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop storyboards, job aids, design plan documents Organize complex information into hierarchies, flows, taxonomies, or other structures to clearly convey information to learners
  • Draft scripts, narration, text and other content for learning solutions
  • Develop complex simulations or games. Develop interactive techniques to increase engagement 
  • Incorporate various media components into learning products such as video, animation and interactive elements 

Instructional Designer Requirements:
  • 5 years of related experience in the Learning & Development field 
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology Experience in learning software (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia) 
  • Experience in using data collection to evaluate project outcomes 
  • Strong communicational skills (will be occasionally required to present to the executive team) 
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials and content
