We have your next position available! Our pharmaceutical client is looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer for a temporary hire, freelance contract opportunity in Kenilworth, NJ. The Graphic Designer will support scientific posters, infographic design, and other research presentation projects.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
  • Provide high level graphic design and production for projects in support of client objectives
  • Research, concept and prototype design assignments as needed
  • Work with project stakeholders to incorporate assignment objectives into the final design deliverable
  • Consistently produce accurate design deliverables
  • Correctly interpret and implement client revisions to design projects
  • Directly support research projects with the ability to:
  • Interpret data and plot simple graphs
  • Devise unique diagrams and illustrations
  • Produce artwork appropriate for major publications such as Science, Nature, etc.
  • In supervisor's absence:
    • Oversee graphic designers
    • Monitor production schedule
    • Support upper management
    • Work with company lead on the outsourcing of production when necessary to ensure on-time completion of projects.
    • Set up and specify details for vendor
    • Project tracking

Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • BA in graphic design or related field of study from an accredited college or equivalent experience. Ability to apply appropriate layout, typographic, color and imagery design to all assignments
  • Possess a practical understanding of image manipulation and re-touching principles
  • Be detail oriented and apply quality control practices to all projects
  • Possess good written, oral, communication and presentation skills
  • Effectively manage and prioritize numerous projects with tight deadlines
  • Effectively and professionally collaborate and interact with team peers, clients and interdepartmental colleagues
  • Ability to interpret and apply written and verbal direction to design assignments
  • Fluent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Possess an understanding of key marketing and business objectives and ability to express those objectives in deliverables
