We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of work in both print and digital mediums to join our in-house marketing team in Chicago, IL. You’ll be tasked with creating meaningful marketing materials that represent our internal and external Buildout brand. The ideal candidate is passionate, team-oriented, self-motivated and able to balance multiple projects in our fast paced environment.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
  • Supports the Brand and Marketing Directors
  • Assists with creation of assets for both Brand and marketing objectives
  • Multi-faceted campaigns including e-mail creation and print/digital long format content pieces
  • Assists internal departments in asset creation
  • Assists in maintaining the Buildout Blog, website and some social media
  • Industry research on best practices and new trends
  • Foster relationships with third-party vendors
Graphic Designer Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of professional experience
  • Strong portfolio of design work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite applications
  • CSS, HTML
  • Comfort in print and digital mediums
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Javascript is a plus
  • Video, motion or animation is a plus
  • Marketing automation is a plus
