Our client, a rapidly growing software company currently located Chicago, IL (in the Northern Chicago Suburbs) is looking for an amazing Event Planner to join their team! The temporary hire, Event Planner will be apart of a highly collaborative team, working on planning multiple corporate events simultaneously. This is the perfect role for someone looking to take on new challenges every day that wants to be a part of a company that annually receives numerous awards as one of the best places to work in the Chicagoland area!

Event Planner Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate multiple internal corporate events end-to-end, from planning to execution
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts and organize facilities, food & beverage, equipment, promotional material, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal team on branding, website content, and email marketing
  • Prepare and execute detailed outlines for event needs

Event Planner Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in Event Coordination
  • Event planning experience specifically in the hospitality/hotel industry preferred
  • Outstanding time management and communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and accomplish projects under minimal supervision
