Ready for a new job? We are looking for a talented Director of Digital Marketing for a direct hire/full-time in Irving, TX. For this position, you will establish and lead strategic and day-to-day efforts of our client's expanding digital marketing channels to maximize brand awareness, customer acquisition, loyalty and foot-traffic sales in restaurants. The ideal Director of Digital Marketing candidate will be a highly experienced digital marketing professional who is strategic, customer centric, exceptionally analytical, and able to lead the development of innovative solutions to maximize the digital customer experience. This is a highly visible, fast-paced management role leading a results-oriented team. 

The Director of Digital Marketing candidate must able to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully plan and manage a substantial volume of both diverse and high-investment projects with high-degree of quality, and deliver on time and budget. The candidate must be comfortable working across functional lines to innovate and influence the growing digital impact on the business. The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills and a track record of effectively working in a collaborative, team-based environment. 

Director of Digital Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategy including a long-term vision, calendars, paid advertising, website development, content strategy, and creative messaging. 
  • Responsible for the planning and management of the online advertising roadmap that includes: 
    • SEO, SEM, programmatic display, paid social, and affiliate marketing channels  
    • Optimize and grow the loyalty platform’s performance through improvements in timing, frequency, segmentation, triggers and offers in conjunction with brand marketing team to maximize return on communication investment for all programs
    • Manage multiple outside vendor and media agency relationships and contract agreements pushing best practices, policies and procedures 
    • Develop appropriate metrics, complete analysis and implement business intelligence platforms to measure the performance of each digital channel and maintain benchmarks over time 
    • Oversee conversion funnel optimization via A/B and multivariate testing 
    • Oversee all outsourced programs, vendors and partnerships (e.g. affiliate management) to ensure performance goals and agreements are met, as well as incremental opportunities identified and captured 

Director of Digital Marketing Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field 
  • Minimum of 6 years Interactive or Digital professional/industry experience; including 
  • Retail or restaurant experience  
  • Experience with digital marketing software and reporting tools (i.e., Google Analytics, DMPs, CMS systems, Google Tag Manager or similar tagging software, Local Listing aggregators, etc.)  Content Management System experience with development of major website and mobile app launch and maintenance eCommerce experience.  
  • Proven leadership, management, business strategy, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to many different audiences
