The Director of Digital Activation is responsible for leading, managing and developing a department responsible for data driven marketing initiatives and programmatic campaigns that exceed performance goals and client expectations. The ideal leader will be a critical agency thought leader maximizing key digital tactics such as social, video, mobile and programmatic display media campaigns. This person is data-driven, detailed oriented, and ambitious with passion about a rapidly changing industry.


Director of Digital Activation Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading, managing and developing a department responsible for data driven marketing initiatives and programmatic campaigns that exceed performance goals and client expectations 
  • Accountable for team hiring, mentoring and coaching, cultivating partner relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive campaign performance and insights

Director of Digital Activation Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior-level clients
  • Passionate, curious, and interest in our clients’ business and advertising industry
  • Independent, strategic thinker, prospers in fast paced environment 
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to convey technical findings to a broad audience
  • Analytical mindset with strong ability to generate actionable insights
  • Agency Tools:  MediaOcean Prisma, ComScore, eMarketer, Kantar Media, Pathmatics, Simmons, etc.
  • DSP Self Service Platforms (DoubleClick Bid Manager, MediaMath, dstillery, Trade Desk, etc.)
  • Social Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Practical experience with DMP Platforms (Adobe Audiences, Oracle DMP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SEM Platforms (AdWords, Bing Ads, DS3, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.)
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 10  years of related digital media planning/buying experience and prior staff management; Pharma experience a plus
    • Experience using analysis software (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
