Digital Content Manager

Our client, a large manufacturer and supplier of goods and products, is looking for an Digital Content Manager! The perfect candidate will help the content team with a total website overhaul and will be responsible for managing the content for all digital properties while serving as thought leader for effective content strategy of over 50,000 SKUs.  Digital Content Manager Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage content for all digital properties, while serving as a thought leader for effective content strategy 
  • Create SEO-optimized and editorially relevant content using SEO principles that maximize content effectiveness and reach, that improves site navigation and search performance/results 
  • Develop metrics and leverage reports on content performance, executing content audits, constantly evolving an executional strategy that drives improvement and results. As such, the candidate will possess working knowledge of commonly used analytical tools (Core Metrics, Google Analytics, etc.) 
  • Handle heavy copy workload, partnering with internal stakeholders (content team and design team, product specialists in merchandising, sales, IT, etc.) to ensure copy is accurate and timely Route all web copy for team feedback and proofreading/copy editing Oversee master web copy document; revise and post updates on an ongoing basis Submit copyedited product descriptions to content team Contribute to customer e-commerce education tools as needed 

 Digital Content Manager Requirements / Skills:
  • 5-8 years experience writing e-commerce product copy with content strategy knowledge 
  • Strong understanding of digital content and strategy, information architecture, and content management technologies 
  • Some knowledge of content strategy Excellent writing, researching, editing, proofreading, time-management and organizational skills 
  • Experience participating in user testing and user research
