Digital Analyst

Fantastic opportunity for a Digital Analyst in New York City! This position will have flexibility to work remote a couple of days a week but will need to be able to go onsite weekly. The Digital Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Affairs Digital Communications Team, with primary responsibilities of reporting and analyzing the effectiveness of all digital content efforts. The role is charged with  developing clear, comprehensive and easy-to-use web and social analytics reports on content performance for the Communications team. He/she will work with external resources as needed to supplement measurement capabilities and continually improve measurement systems and tools.

Digital Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Support the analytic needs of the business unit by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Use standard data visualization tools such as Tableau to produce dashboards
  • Create and refresh weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports related to web and social performance
  • Collaborate with agencies to assist with digital data collection and reporting
  • Assist with the creation and execution of multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience.
  • Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across the digital ecosystem
  • Advise on website tagging requirements and campaign tracking parameters
  • Validate website tagging using standard debugger tools such as firebug
  • Document existing processes and suggestions for improving those processes.

Digital Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Experience analyzing social media platforms and other paid digital marketing efforts
  • Experience in the health and/or pharmaceutical fields a plus.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate success in a fast-paced, high-exposure and highly collaborative environment. 
  • Discipline in time management and precision in the execution of duties – from content creation to delivery – are especially important, given the largely deadline driven, highly visible nature of the work. 
  • Excellent presentation preparation skills and persuasiveness are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets a plus
