Ad Title: Consumer Insights Associate

Our client is seeking a Consumer Insights Associate to join their growing team! This position will be responsible for providing actionable insights through analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. 

Consumer Insights Associate Responsibilities:
  • Lead and/or participate in primary research studies with customers including discussion guide development, participant recruitment, preparation of materials, analysis and presentation
  • Assist with the design and implementation of consumer surveys, focus groups studies, interviews and more, supporting a variety of business areas
  • Assist in managing external vendors and panel communities from research intake of stakeholders through presentation and readout
  • Perform activities such and secondary research reviews, industry and market research summaries and competitive reviews
  • Encourage members of design, business, and product teams to be involved as partners in studies to gain first-hand knowledge of department goals and identify key research opportunities
  • Collaborates with Consumer Insights team members and other research and reporting teams on complex projects
  • Aid in the growth of Consumer Insights by assisting and/or leading new ad-hoc efforts as well as continuous brand and performance tracking

Consumer Insights Associate Requirements: 
  • Degree in fields spanning marketing, market research, psychology, sociology, anthropology, statistics or business. Masters degree a plus
  • 1-3 years’ experience planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting on research studies in market research or a similar field, either client or supplier side
  • Ability and/or familiarity to conduct various research methods used to gather qualitative and quantitative data (surveys, focus groups, diary studies, VOC or competitive analysis); comfortable facilitating interviews
  • Strong reporting and storytelling capabilities, outstanding writing and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to a group
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, a natural ability to “connect the dots” and drive toward big picture insights
  • Ability to organize and prioritize while working on multiple, simultaneous projects of varied size and complexity
  • Experience with survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.), SPSS, SQL, Microsoft Office.applications
