We are on the hunt for an Account Supervisor for a full time opportunity in Kenilworth, NJ! Our client's in-house agency is consistently rated better than both similar in-house agencies and external competitors—overall and with respect to innovation, execution, and client support. The Account Supervisor will support client marketing, project strategy, project budgets, and assist in up-selling new products and services to existing clients. They will work with the Account Director to build client relationships and ensure client satisfaction through high levels of performance achievement.

Job Title: Account Supervisor
Location: Kenilworth, NJ with some travel to other client locations locally
Type: Full time

Account Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Establishes strong and trusted relationships with aligned clients from selected accounts
  • Manages accounts independently on a day-to-day basis
  • Partners with client to ensure strategic brand or departmental direction
  • Accountable for all SOW development
  • Reviews all major milestones for client deliverables prior to client review and shares in accountability
  • Writes thorough and actionable creative briefs
  • Oversees operational performance of assigned accounts
  • Understands key agency resources and brings them together to produce exceptional results
  • Facilitates ideas from development to presentation to execution
  • Partners with internal teams to ensure successful execution of projects and budget management
  • Ensures budgets and project estimates are accurate and appropriately represent required project hours
  • Leads internal meetings (e.g. status meetings, job start-ups)
  • Inspires and motivates teams to over-deliver against expectations, resulting in high employee engagement and overall client satisfaction
  • Fosters a positive team environment demonstrating respect for peers, supervisors, team members, and clients
  • Collaborates with Creative and Strategic team members to identify opportunities
  • Supports organic growth of existing client project work and up-selling appropriate opportunities
Account Supervisor Requirements:
  • 10+ years account management advertising agency experience within a pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrates excellent grasp of account management/client services best practices
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing directed toward both consumers and health professionals
  • In-depth knowledge of pharma and marketing communications strategies, regulatory environment, and healthcare provider organizations
  • Proven track record of developing and executing digital programs
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, client relationship, organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Writes and speaks effectively and can clearly articulate creative solutions in terms of clients’ business goals
  • Applies strategic thinking to all business challenges and opportunities
  • Passionate problem solver – anticipates challenges and how solutions will affect future projects, people, or processes
