Exciting opportunity for a freelance Account Planner / Strategist to work with creative agency and AOR at large pharmaceutical company NJ / NY metro area:


Account Strategist Responsibilities:
  • Researches and gathers data to develop well-informed strategic plans for clients
  • Examines clients’ businesses to get to know their brands and understand their objectives
  • Produces cohesive and intelligent creative briefs to bring success to campaigns
  • Generates original ideas with other members of the team
  • Presents findings to senior staff members and clients
  • Identifies potential problems and devises ways to rectify them
  • Liaisons with Account Managers and Creative staff to receive feedback and create improvements and strategies
  • Keeps up with social and cultural trends and customers’ views and attitudes
  • Makes presentations to clients and agency staff with the ability to demonstrate our strategic insights
Account Strategist Requirements:
  • BA in Marketing, Design, Copywriting or related field of study
  • 5+ years of strategic planning experience
  • 3+ years pharma or healthcare creative experience preferred
  • Has a proven track record in developing strategic plans that benefit the client in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Exhibits a good knowledge of the media and how strategy planning influences it
  • Inspires and motivates teams to over-deliver against expectations, resulting in high employee engagement and overall clientsatisfaction
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, client relationship, organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Writes and speaks effectively and can clearly articulate creative solutions in terms of clients’ business goals
  • Applies strategic thinking to all business challenges and opportunities
  • Leverages innovation and industry insights when translating key marketing and business objectives into deliverables
  • Excellent problem solver – anticipates challenges and how solutions will affect future projects, people, or processes
  • Demonstrates expertise in relevant applications and tools
