We have a new opportunity for you! Check out this amazing Account Manager/Project Manager job for a long term, temporary hire position. It is currently located in Toledo, OH, and you will serves as initial point of contact for all aligned-client projects and recommends and advises clients on options and capabilities utilizing marketing best practices and channel knowledge. The AM/PM exhibits the ability to understand clients’ products, audiences and business objectives and ensures they are applied to client products. He/she collaborates with designers and writers to ensure product delivers on client promises. For select Tier 1 assignments, the AM/PM will also be expected to participate in brainstorming sessions. In addition, the AM/PM will provide project management follow-through and accurate delivery.


Account Manager/Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain solid client relationships and encourage a collaborative approach with departmental team members
  • Educate clients on cost savings and leveraging opportunities aligned with their marketing efforts
  • Partner with outside agencies in managing clients’ promotional and marketing efforts
  • Write creative briefs on complex projects and interpret them for project teams in order to lead communication strategies and implement marketing efforts
  • Provide strategic development and counsel to clients, specifically in the development of campaigns to solve clients’ marketing problems
  • Recommend the effective reuse of past materials when appropriate to minimize client costs
  • Collaborate on creative development and direction with client, design and production teams
  • Provide feedback to project team during internal creative reviews
  • Present concepts to clients, obtain feedback and translate that feedback for the project team
  • Review client change requests and respond with schedule/cost impacts along with alternatives
  • Manage expectations with clients and departmental teams
  • Negotiate timelines and budgets and ensure that all deadlines are maintained
  • Represent the interests of the client in interactions with project teams
  • Ensure all regulatory, legal and compliance and branding guidelines are followed to the letter on their assigned businesses
  • Provide final sign-off on projects to ensure compliance with creative brief and project specifications
  • Leverage knowledge and understanding of graphic design, creative and production to facilitate effective communication between client and departmental teams
Account Manager/Project Manager Requirements:
  • Ad agency account management experience preferably including print, direct marketing campaigns, online, promotions, TV and radio
  • Strong understanding of the benefits of the above communication channels with the ability to match the channel with the client’s communication needs
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, both through idea generation and assessment of ideas generated by others
  • Team player with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Adept at crisis management
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent creative project management skills, highly organized
  • Ability to gain client trust and effectively manage client expectations
  • Strong understanding of the clients marketing
  • Strong understanding of the creative process as well as design and print/web production
  • Successful track record of client service in a marketing or creative environment
