Our client located in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a direct hire/full-time Account Executive with experience working in an agency environment. This AE will demonstrate and model a top-quality, organized, high-energy, results-oriented approach. This person will develop and execute strategies and tactics to meet client needs with senior management oversight and contribution. 

Account Executive Responsibilities: 
  • Be actively involved in account activities on the front lines of media relations, social media, messaging and materials development, and client services 
  • Serves as point of contact for specified clients 
  • Maintains strong client/agency relationships across his/her practice area 
  • Leads day-to-day activities for his/her clients 
  • Understands and models the facilitating of strategic conversations and results 
  • Drives development of strategies and tactics to set, then meets/exceeds objectives
  • Works with clients to identify individual project goals, timing, and strategies 
  • Develops media relations strategy and execution and manages the flow of media relations needs, including follow-up in a timely manner, scheduling interviews, preparing clients for interviews, maintaining media contacts, and avidly consuming news to aid pro-action for clients 
  • Prepares and uses account management tools and technology, including agendas, conference reports, project budgets, media activity reports, media database, social media dashboard, and time accounting budget allocation software 
  • Recognizes and leverages new needs and opportunities for business development within current accounts 
  • Maintains system of client reporting and merchandises results internally and externally in a timely manner 

Account Executive Requirements: 
  • 2- 3 professional experience servicing/supporting clients
  • journalism or corporate public relations experience Agency experience is required 
  • Writing samples required 
  • Must be a a strong tactical executioner Experience working in an agency setting is required 
  • Proven media relations experience with a portfolio of placements Track record of accurate, thorough, creative, audience-appropriate writing 
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work within tight deadlines with defined resources 
  • Proven experience with social media, successfully executing campaign elements in a PR setting 
  • Success at building and managing ongoing relationships with clients, media, colleagues 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public relations planning processes
