As digital content associateyou'll have the opportunity to contribute creative ideas to the team, project manage, and assist in the creation of new and innovative marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of creativity and technical experience as they'll be developing creative content for marketing campaigns while assisting with basic web tasks and updates in WordPress. Digital Content Associate Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff to produce relevant, high-quality, and timely content that conforms to the organizations style and brand guidelines
  • Serve as primary content curator and editor for organizations website
  • Serve as the primary liaison for projects that relate to the company website - Ability to partner with IT to evaluate CMS enhancements and upgrades for better user experience
  • Help to monitor and evaluate analytics for company web properties and develop new strategies to continually improve user experience for visitors and members
  • Assist in tracking new market trends, and partnering with external vendors and media contacts
  • Assists the Director of Marketing in establishing and executing a digital media strategy with a specific focus on engagement and marketing
  • Write and edit content for a variety of channels, including website, landing pages, social media, and email communications, while maintaining consistency in wording, branding, and messaging across all communications
  • Work closely with staff to ensure cohesive communications on all social media channels while managing, maintaining and measuring the associations social media

Digital Content Associate Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, journalism, English, or related field (required)
  • Five or more (5+) years experience developing and managing web, digital, and social media content 
  • An engaging and clear writing style with superior editing skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and top not interpersonal skills 
  • Familiarity with best practices for content strategy, website user experience, and writing for the web and a strong understanding of web trends and technologies and social media
  • Ability to make edits and updates to company website and landing pages using a CMS
  • Familiarity with PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, and related graphics programs; content management systems; social media tools; and Google Analytics; some HTML helpful
